LAS PLAYAS DE BARCELONA

Next to Maremagnum, Port Vell, presided by the statue of Cristóbal Columbus, and the pubs and restaurants of the Barceloneta, Barcelona opens to the sea through its six beaches. You have 30 hectares of sand in order to lie down in the sun!

It is easy to find a place where to have something to drink near the beach. In addition to the Chiringuitos, that are open the whole summer, permanent establishments in the Olympic Port can be found (metro: Ciutadella – Vila Olímpica), in Joan de Borbó Avenue (metro: Barceloneta) or in the Ramblas(metro: Liceu).
